Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Michael K. Alston has been accepted into membership of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC).
Alston, the managing partner of Husch Blackwell’s Chattanooga office and a member of the firm's Real Estate, Development & Construction business unit, is an accomplished litigator and mediator of complex commercial claims. His corporate clients range from commercial real estate owners and developers and real estate investment trusts (REITs) to insurance carriers, medical device manufacturers, mail-order pharmacies, and hospitals and health systems. He is active in the Chattanooga community and is a Charter member of the Chattanooga Legal Diversity Consortium.
FDCC membership is limited, selective, and by nomination only, with a total of 1,450 members from the United States, Puerto Rico, Australia, Canada, Asia and Europe. The FDCC is an organization comprised of “recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction, [and it] is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits.”
