Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that David Hilgers received the Distinguished Service Award from the Texas Health Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
Hilgers, a member of the Healthcare industry group, is a senior counsel based in Husch Blackwell’s Austin office. He counsels healthcare providers on a wide range of corporate and administrative legal issues such as complex health transactions, billing issues and regulatory compliance. From 2006 to 2007, he was Chairman of the ABA Health Section Council. He also earned recognition from Chambers USA for Texas Healthcare in 2022.
He will be honored with a Distinguished Service Award on October 10 at the annual Texas Health Law Conference.
This Distinguished Service Award is presented bi-annually to recognize a Texas health attorney who has promoted and furthered the practice of health law, mentored lawyers new to the practice of health law, fostered the healthcare practice through participation in professional organizations, or provided service to the State Bar Health Law Section, or the community in matters related to health law.
