Husch Blackwell associate Joseph S. Diedrich has been elected Secretary of the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. His one-year term begins today.
The Appellate Practice Section encourages communication and exchange of ideas between attorneys practicing in state and federal appellate courts. Among other things, the section and its members publish a newsletter and blog, host regular workshops and continuing education seminars, engage in significant pro bono activities, and sponsor a biannual Best Briefs Competition.
Based in the firm’s Madison office, Diedrich also serves on the Board of Directors of the Dane County Bar Association. He is an award-winning legal writer and a member of the Editorial Board of Wisconsin Lawyer.
