Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Michael D. Fielding has been named president of the Agricultural Law section of the Kansas Bar Association (KBA).
Fielding, based in the firm’s Kansas City office, is a partner in the firm’s Food & Agribusiness group. He regularly advises lenders regarding resolution of distressed agricultural loans and is a noted speaker and presenter on issues related to banks and other lending institutions that work with troubled loans.
The KBA Agricultural Law Section is for KBA members with an interest in agricultural law and related issues. It promotes and develops legal standards for agricultural law contracts and disputes and advances the practices of attorneys in agricultural law. Fielding is also a founding member and president of KBA’s Religion Law Section.
