Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Bruce Fowler has joined the firm’s Denver office as a partner in its Financial Services and Capital Markets industry group and a member of its Private Wealth team.
Fowler, a former Certified Public Accountant, has over two decades of experience providing clients with sophisticated estate and tax planning services. His clients are high-net-worth individuals and families, whom he helps understand and navigate options for the transfer of family wealth —and the tax implications of those options. His in-depth understanding of the tax code and experience as a CPA helps him spot potential tax issues more efficiently, leading to estate plans tailored to client needs and concerns.
“The way Bruce develops personal relationships with his clients aligns with the private wealth team’s values,” said partner Jacque Albus, leader of the firm’s Financial Services and Capital Markets industry group. “He understands his client’s goals and objectives and implements plans to achieve favorable outcomes. We are delighted to have Bruce join our team.”
Fowler’s clients are sophisticated investors, entrepreneurs, real estate developers, and venture capitalists with significant legal needs. He advises clients on the succession of family-owned businesses and represents several large family foundations, as well as assisting clients in meeting philanthropic goals. In addition, Fowler works very closely with trustees and beneficiaries in the administration of trusts and estates and often represents parties involved in probate and trust litigation.
“I’m delighted to join such a great team of private wealth attorneys at Husch Blackwell,” Fowler said. “I have a sophisticated client base with growing needs outside of private wealth, and Husch Blackwell provides a full-service platform that will greatly benefit my clients.”
