Husch Blackwell announced the completion of construction on its new, premier location in Springfield, Missouri. The firm will move its office from downtown Springfield in the Hammons Tower to 3810 E. Sunshine, a three-story office building owned and operated by Raga Properties, LLC. Employees will transition to the new office beginning today.
“We are eager for our new home in Springfield,” said Bryan Wade, Husch Blackwell’s Springfield office managing partner. “Our new space allows us to fulfill the firmwide focus on being efficient with our space and creating a collaborative environment. We are committed to Springfield and this space allows for sustained growth.”
After 25 years in Hammons Tower, the new Springfield office will leverage East Sunshine to align with the firm-wide focus to reduce overall square footage through a combination of smaller offices, smarter uses of space, and more hoteling and common areas. Husch Blackwell will rent a total of 14,500 square feet on East Sunshine, about three-quarters of its previous space. Employees will enjoy a beautiful, covered patio and a fireplace in the lobby.
The firm placed a priority on floor plan designs that provide ample natural lighting throughout the office and state-of-the-art technological amenities that can facilitate greater client interaction and work-from-home protocols.
In addition to Husch Blackwell, Central Bank of the Ozarks and Baron Design will take space in the new building.
Husch Blackwell’s Springfield office is resident to 17 attorneys spanning multiple practice areas and 13 administrative personnel. The office was established in 1996 and continues to attract top practitioners, particularly in the areas of aviation, commercial litigation, corporate law, labor & employment and real estate.
