Husch Blackwell announced the completion of construction on its new location in Boston. The firm will remain in the heart of downtown as it moves from One Beacon Street to One Congress Street, a 43-story office building that offers unparalleled 360-degree views, overlooking the Charles River, Boston Harbor, North End, Financial District, and Back Bay. Attorneys and business professionals will transition to the new office beginning today.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled for our new home in Boston,” said Robert Blaisdell, Husch Blackwell’s Boston Office Managing Partner. “This build-out includes state-of-the-art amenities, which align with our work-from-anywhere strategy. Our new space promotes an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and wellness, and our Boston team is energized about this next chapter.”
The firm will lease approximately 11,000 square feet with the build-out resembling other recent Husch Blackwell brick-and-mortar renovations across the portfolio through a combination of uniform office sizes, smarter uses of space, and more hoteling and common areas. The firm has also placed a priority on floor plan designs that provide ample natural lighting throughout the office and state-of-the-art technological amenities that can facilitate greater client interaction.
Husch Blackwell’s Boston office is home to 13 attorneys spanning multiple practice areas and nine business professionals. The office was established in September 2021 after the attorneys of Summit Health Law Partners joined the firm. The Boston office continues to attract top practitioners, particularly in the areas of healthcare, renewable energy, and intellectual property.
In addition to Husch Blackwell, other tenants include State Street Corp., InterSystems, Corp., and Trillium Asset Management.
