National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce it has been named a finalist for Best Use of AI as part of the 2026 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards.

Husch Blackwell was named to the watchlist for its internally developed AI tools—the Medical Timeline Tool, Prompt Composer, and Zephyr.

  • Medical Timeline Tool uses Azure OpenAI to analyze PDF medical records, which has been transformative for the firm’s leading Mass Tort & Product Liability practice.
  • Prompt Composer, functioning as a platform for models from Anthropic and OpenAI, provides seamless and safe access to multiple AI models, enabling Husch Blackwell attorneys and business professionals to experiment and discover helpful AI applications in their daily work.
  • Zephyr is the firm’s in-house transcription tool.

In 2024, the firm was shortlisted for the Legal Service Innovation Award by The American Lawyer in its annual industry awards as well as The Financial Times as part of its Innovative Lawyers Awards North America for Innovation in Generative AI Strategy.

This year’s honorees will be recognized at the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards Dinner on March 9 in New York City. A full list of finalists can be found here.
