National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Benchmark Litigation a leading global legal directory exclusively dedicated to covering litigation, recognized Husch Blackwell as its 2025 Law Firm of the Year in the state of Nebraska, marking the sixth straight year the firm has earned the distinction. The firm was also shortlisted for 2025 Law Firm of the Year in Missouri and Wisconsin.
One notable matter from the past year was Husch Blackwell serving as outside legal counsel to the Nebraska Legislature on an issue involving the separation of powers between Nebraska's Executive and Legislative branches. After the issuance of an Attorney General Opinion in August 2023, the Legislature sought partner Marnie Jensen to advise it regarding updating the legislative framework involving the Legislature's Inspectors General for Child Welfare and Corrections.
