Husch Blackwell announced the completion of construction on its new location in Jefferson City, Missouri. The firm will remain downtown as it moves from 235 E High St. to 630 Bolivar St., a three-story office building owned and operated by Farmer Companies. Employees will transition to the new office beginning today.
“We’re elated for our new Jefferson City home,” said Lowell Pearson, Husch Blackwell’s Jefferson City office managing partner. “Our firm’s workplace strategy team has been renovating offices across the footprint that support the firm’s culture and strategies, and we couldn’t be more pleased with this build out, which provides state-of-the-art amenities, as well as promotes an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and wellness.”
After 30 years at 235 E. High St., the firm will lease approximately 11,500 square feet with the build out resembling other recent Husch Blackwell brick-and-mortar renovations across the portfolio through a combination of uniform office sizes, smarter uses of space, and more hoteling and common areas. The firm has also placed a priority on floor plan designs that provide ample natural lighting throughout the office and state-of-the-art technological amenities that can facilitate greater client interaction.
Husch Blackwell’s Jefferson City office is home to seven attorneys spanning multiple practice areas and eight administrative personnel. The office was established in 1990 and continues to attract top practitioners, particularly in the areas of commercial litigation, healthcare, and public policy.
