"We aim to be the disruptor, not the disrupted," said Dean Boeschen.

Litera Microsystems, a leading software provider to the legal and life sciences industries, has named Husch Blackwell as one of five law firms to its shortlist for The Changing Lawyer Awards 2019 in the Law Firm of the Year category. The winners will be announced during ILTACON 2019, on Monday, August 19 at Disney’s Boardwalk Atlantic Dance Hall in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

“We are very pleased to have our innovation efforts recognized as being among the legal industry’s leaders,” said Dean Boeschen, Husch Blackwell’s Chief Growth Officer. “As always, innovation is a moving target, and I believe we have the right approach in place to harness creative ideas and new technology. We aim to be the disruptor, not the disrupted.”

Husch Blackwell was chosen as a finalist from among hundreds of nominations by a panel of judges seeking individuals and firms for their “willingness to embrace and drive change—through new technology, service models, or behavior.” This is the second year that the award series has recognized innovator law firms, legal departments and individuals.
