Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Jason J. Montgomery has joined the firm as partner in its Kansas City office.
Montgomery joins the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences and Education group and its Higher Education practice. He focuses his practice on the representation of colleges, universities and student-athletes across the country in NCAA enforcement, eligibility, compliance and athletics regulatory matters. Earlier in his career, he served as an athletics compliance officer at a major NCAA Division I institution and in various positions at the NCAA headquarters including as an NCAA investigator and member of the NCAA Academic and Membership Affairs staff.
Montgomery earned his J.D. from University of Kansas School of Law and his B.A. cum laude from Baker University. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
