Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that partner Julian Rivera is the 2022 recipient of the American Bar Association Health Law Section’s Champion of Diversity & Inclusion Award.
The award honors an ABA Health Law Section member who has made exceptional efforts to promote or facilitate diversity and inclusion within the Section and/or the legal profession. Rivera received the award during the ABA Health Law Section Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law Conference on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in Miami, FL.
Rivera, based in the firm's Austin office, represents healthcare providers and healthcare technology companies on a wide range of regulatory compliance, operations, transactions, litigation and business matters. He has extensive experience representing clients on matters involving healthcare technology, including emerging technologies with big data, artificial intelligence, telemedicine and telehealth. He also helps clients maximize healthcare provider opportunities and navigate the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory environment and represents providers in Texas Medical Board license and federal health program cases.
The ABA Health Law Section is the voice of the national health law bar within the ABA.
