National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that St. Louis-based attorneys Kaytlin Kopen and Shmuel Shulman have been selected to join the Levy Fellows: Fall 2024 Board Development Program, a training cohort for board members from organizations across the St. Louis Jewish community.
Kopen, a Labor & Employment partner, defends clients against claims involving state and federal employment laws, handles complex litigation, and provides counsel on compliance. Shulman is a commercial litigator and focuses his practice on complex litigation issues across corporate, real estate, and toxic tort law.
Sponsored by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, the Levy Fellows program includes four sessions that highlight skills in leadership presence, board roles and responsibilities, board engagement and effectiveness, meeting management and decision-making processes, board-staff relationships, and long-term impact. Participants will also build a new network with other board leaders.
Kopen will represent the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum and WashU Hillel, while Shulman will represent H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy and Young Israel of St. Louis.
