Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that partner Marnie Jensen has been named to The American Lawyer’s 2021 inaugural list of Midwest Trailblazers.
Jensen, a litigator in the firm’s Food & Agribusiness group, represents clients in a variety of industries in complex commercial matters. She has led teams in successful bet-the-company litigation and other high-profile cases. Based on Omaha, she also chairs the firm’s Food Safety & Regulation practice.
“I grew up in a farming community in the Midwest, so from an early age, I understood the devotion and business skill necessary in agriculture,” Jensen said. “When I decided to practice law, I wanted to maintain that connection to what I learned growing up, and Husch Blackwell provides an excellent platform to do just that.”
The Trailblazer series spotlights a handful of individuals from different practice areas who are "truly agents of change,” with a goal of recognizing professionals in the Midwest who have “moved the needle in the legal industry.” In choosing Jensen, the Trailblazer committee noted: “In the nation's bread basket, (Jensen is) often at the nexus of food safety and regulations, including the special requirements of organic.”
