Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Maureen Clark has joined its Consumer Financial Services practice and Financial Services & Capital Markets group as senior counsel.
Based in the firm’s Link virtual office, Clark focuses her practice on the intricacies of consumer finance regulations. Much of her counsel focuses on fair lending and responsible banking, particularly Regulation B and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and UDAAP. In addition, she provides support for the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Regulation E of the Electronic Fund Transfers Act. She comes to Husch Blackwell after in-house roles with large consumer finance institutions.
Clark earned her J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minn., and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. A devotee of the winter sport of curling, she represented Team USA at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and currently serves as Judicial Committee Chair of the United States Curling Association Board of Directors.
