The American Lawyer has recognized Husch Blackwell among the top 100 law firms in the United States in its 2025 Am Law 100 rankings, released April 15. The annual ranking is based on gross revenue and includes a variety of other measures of law firm size and profitability. Husch Blackwell rose four places to No. 78.

Reporting double-digit revenue growth for the fifth consecutive year in 2024, above the industry average of 13.3%, Husch Blackwell was one of only 23 firms to post 15% year-over-year growth. Topping $707 million, a gain of 15.6%, the firm achieved a record-setting year in terms of growth and profitability.

In a March interview with the American Lawyer, Husch Blackwell Chief Executive Jamie Lawless said that the investments made in prior years—both in people and in infrastructure—played a pivotal role in the firm’s success. In 2023, the firm added 111 attorneys—nearly 70% joining in the second half of the year—and followed it up in 2024 with 126 attorney additions.
