Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Rob Kukuljan has joined the firm as a partner. He will practice out of The Link, the firm’s virtual office, and is a member of the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education business unit.
In a career spanning over three decades, Rob advises and represents clients engaged in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other commercial transactions across multiple industry segments, including healthcare payer service providers, digital health, home healthcare, software and AI, and technology and service providers to the healthcare industry, in addition to companies that develop medical devices and biopharma therapies and technologies. In addition to his strategic transaction experience, Rob routinely represents clients on a wide variety of capital markets transactions, including public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as associated securities and regulation compliance and corporate governance concerns. Beyond healthcare and allied industries, Rob also represents clients on transactions and other financing matters in a variety of business sectors, including industrial and manufacturing, real estate development, technology and e-commerce, consumer products and services, and financial services.
“Rob is a terrific fit for our team in a market where we have been building a greater presence,” said Curt Chase, the head of Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education business unit. “The Minneapolis metro area has a vibrant and innovative healthcare and life sciences industry and is adjacent to our large footprint in the Midwest. Our clients in the region will be excited to have access to Rob’s transactional and regulatory experience.”
“Husch Blackwell’s industry focus—and its national prominence in healthcare law in particular—is an excellent platform to provide clients with a full suite of legal services and strategic thinking,” said Kukuljan. “As the healthcare industry continues to evolve very quickly, the ability to give clients 360-degree legal and business advice separates Husch Blackwell from most law firms.”
“We are excited to continue our recent moves in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area,” said Paul Eberle, Husch Blackwell’s Chief Executive. “Growing our presence there is a big part of the firm’s strategic growth initiative, and we look forward to adding lawyers in key practice areas who share our cultural values around client service, collaboration and teamwork, and diversity, equity and inclusion."
