Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Shae Keefe has joined the firm’s Houston office as senior counsel in its Real Estate, Development & Construction industry unit and a member of its Public Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Keefe focuses her practice on resolving high-stakes disputes centered on real estate-related issues. She represents both public entities as well as private businesses in eminent domain litigation in connection with high-profile infrastructure projects, including midstream oil and gas projects, surface transportation projects, and flood mitigation projects, among others. She also has significant experience in a variety of commercial litigation and insurance disputes.
“The federal infrastructure law has added urgency to an already active business environment for large infrastructure projects in Texas,” said Kate David, the head of Husch Blackwell’s Public Law team and the managing partner of the firm’s Houston office. “Our clients will find Shae’s deep experience with Texas eminent domain law and her skill as a litigator to be of great value in getting much-needed projects across the finish line.”
“Husch Blackwell has built an impressive group of lawyers focused on public law in Texas,” said Keefe. “The client-centered culture of the firm and its clear dedication to growing the Houston office were also important selling points for me. I look forward to helping the firm grow its profile here in Houston and throughout the state of Texas.”
Husch Blackwell’s Houston office has grown rapidly in recent years and now features over 30 attorneys practicing in across nearly a dozen practice areas, including Public Law, Banking & Finance, Bankruptcy & Insolvency, Commercial Litigation, Higher Education, Construction and Real Estate Development.
