Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce partners Steve Levine, Josh Levy and Cortney O’Toole Morgan will serve on the Cannabis, Construction, and International Trade Editorial Advisory Boards, respectively, in 2021 for Law360.
The boards are comprised of about 10 subject-matter experts who provide feedback on Law360’s coverage and additional insights on how best to cover each respective practice area. This year marks the fourth consecutive year of serving on the International Trade editorial board for Morgan, while this is the first year for both Levine and Levy.
Based in Denver, Levine leads the firm’s national cannabis practice where he counsels clients through the tangle of shifting regulations governing the sale and use of cannabis in both the marijuana and industrial hemp sectors. He also guides these clients through a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings (public and private), debt and equity financings, and corporate restructurings.
Levy, based in Milwaukee, is the leader of the firm’s Construction & Design Group and serves as an AAA Arbitrator on the Construction Industry Panel. Josh’s past experience as in-house counsel for a national construction firm has given Josh an in-depth understanding of the concerns of owners, developers, architects and contractors.
Based in Washington, D.C., Morgan leads the firm’s International Trade & Supply Chain practice and advises foreign and domestic companies on all aspects of international trade, including regulatory compliance, supply chain efficiencies, investigations and enforcement. Morgan has deep experience handling matters that involve international trade controls, including export controls and economic sanctions. She also advises clients on export and import licensing, tariff classification, valuation, country of origin marking, preference programs, IPR enforcement, customs audits, logistics security, penalties and voluntary disclosures.
