Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce Valerie Johnston received a Wisconsin Legislative Commendation from Robin Vos, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly, as part of Women in Construction Week.
Johnston was recognized not only for her dedication to her career in construction, but her engagement with younger generations in the community as well as promoting women and disadvantaged businesses in the construction industry. She is committed to helping others learn about the construction industry to help foster growth for generations to follow.
Johnston’s practice focuses on all matters involving commercial real estate, including navigating her clients through the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and sale of property, as well as providing counsel on design and accessibility compliance under the Fair Housing Act. Valerie also has extensive experience representing lenders extending capital pursuant to commercial property assessed clean energy (C-PACE) programs nationwide.
