National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Florida-based Kelley Geraghty Price has joined the firm as partner in its Commercial Litigation practice group and the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit. Price will be a member of The Link, Husch Blackwell’s virtual office and will also see clients in Naples, Florida.
Price has more than three decades of experience handling complex litigation in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level. She concentrates her practice in commercial and business litigation, construction and real estate litigation, employment litigation, and trusts & estates litigation.
“Kelley is a successful litigator who fits the firm’s culture and further expands our capabilities in Florida,” said Michael Hargens, partner and leader of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. “Kelley will help meet the growing demands of our clients in the region.”
Price, who joins from Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, represents clients in a wide array of matters, including shareholder/partnership disputes, business torts, construction law, real estate litigation, insurance litigation, and employment law representing employers exclusively. She also advises clients across industries, including banking, construction, health care, manufacturing, broadcasting & media, real estate, insurance, and securities. Her clients include public and private corporations, high net-worth individuals, and family businesses.
“There is a tremendous opportunity for growth in Florida, and I’m excited to enhance Husch Blackwell’s presence here,” Price said. “The firm’s forward-thinking approach with The Link, as well as the opportunity to work with its talented women leaders was very appealing to me.”
Price’s arrival continues the firm’s expansion of its litigation team, following the addition of two New York-based reinsurance litigators earlier this month.
