Christopher F. Weiss of Husch Blackwell has been named a recipient of a 2020 Pro Bono Award by the Missouri Bar Executive Committee.
Weiss, who is based in the firm’s Springfield office, is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction industry group. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, real estate and construction and creditor rights. In 2019, his pro bono work primarily centered on a Hague Convention matter referred to the firm by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
The Missouri Bar presents Pro Bono Awards annually to attorneys who have rendered outstanding pro bono service to indigent or low-income persons in need of legal assistance. Weiss will receive the award at the Missouri Bar Annual Meeting on a date to be determined.
