What does it mean when someone has they/them pronouns in their email signature? What do I do if I am unsure of a client’s gender, or that client begins to use a different name? What should I do if I ask about a client’s husband and find out the client has a wife? Our Gender Inclusion in the Workplace webinar will answer all of these questions and more through an engaging presentation that intertwines personal storytelling with workplace best practices. The close of the session will offer a dynamic question and answer discussion.
Our guest speaker is Ryan Sallans, MA, an inspirational transgender speaker and author who specializes in inclusion, diversity and healthcare. Over the past 20 years, Ryan has worked in the fields of eating disorder recovery, sexual orientation, and gender identity development. His work focuses on building inclusive environments and his teachings are based on a personal narrative that interweaves his past academics with current research and science. Ryan’s work is designed to help audiences and individuals break down the barriers that gender presents us all.
Moderating the program will be Daan Erikson, a Senior Associate in our Chicago office who advises Fortune 500 companies, startups and individual authors on trademark, copyright and right of publicity matters.
