Governor Parson announced that Missouri will move to the next phase of vaccinations, Phase 1B-Tier 3, on Monday, March 15. This will make the vaccine available to an additional 550,000 Missourians. Phase 1B-Tier 3 includes critical infrastructure workers and those responsible for the essential functioning of society. This phase includes those in education including teachers, faculty and childcare workers; employees in the communications, energy, food and agricultural, technology, waste and wastewater, nuclear, dams and transportations systems sectors; and government officials.
A full list of those eligible to be vaccinated in Phases 1A, 1B-Tier 1, 1B-Tier 2 and 1B-Tier 3 can be found here.
Missouri has not yet announced when it will move to Phase 2, but that phase will include those in the chemical sector, critical manufacturing, defense industrial base sector, financial services, remaining food and agricultural workers (including restaurants), higher education, disproportionately affected populations and the homeless. Phase 3 will include all remaining individuals.
