Catarina Colón will present, "DEI: Past, Present and Future- An Essential Update for All," at the ABA Business Law Spring Meeting on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
This program will cover the history of DEI, including its origins. The panel will look at the turning point following the death of George Floyd, then the current state of affairs—the Harvard Decision, to scaling back of programming. They will then discuss DEI's future state—the impacts of the current administration, and what you as an individual or law firm can do to continue to support DEI initiatives, including the elimination of bias.
