Since the Supreme Court's historic Bostock decision in 2020 finding that the Title VII guarantees protections from workplace discrimination to people who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community, there have been major implications for employers nationwide, including school districts. This session will discuss the Supreme Court’s recent decision on legal protections for LGBTQ workers, federal guidance on this issue, and accommodating students who identify as LGBTQ, as well as practical tips to navigate this complex area.
