This session first focuses on the ever-evolving telehealth regulatory environment, including implementing waivers, permanent expansion, and reimbursement. The presentation will also outline telehealth enforcement trends, privacy issues, and liabilities under technology service agreements. The second half of the session addresses employer liability in disciplining and terminating employees in long-term care. The presentation will provide best practices for mitigating legal risk, conducting internal investigations, and limiting liability under anti-discrimination laws.
