Husch Blackwell’s Higher Education team has launched its first episode of “Strings Attached,” a series of short explainer videos dedicated to answering frequently asked questions concerning Title IV Federal Student Aid and related regulations from the Department of Education.
Episode 1 tackles the package of regulations issued October 2023 (Financial Responsibility, Administrative Capability, Certification Procedures, and Ability-to-Benefit Regulations) that has raised significant hurdles for institutions in complying with Title IV regs, including those governing Federal Student Aid Program Participation Agreements and professional certification/licensure program requirements. These new regs became effective July 1, 2024.
Future episodes will touch on issues related to other regulations that impact Title IV compliance.
