Join Husch Blackwell and its industry partners for an afternoon in support of expanding opportunities for Milwaukee’s historically disadvantaged contractors. This event will include informative panel discussions, followed by a networking session to meet and develop relationships between these small businesses and some of the larger construction companies, lenders, and developers.
Co-hosted by Husch Blackwell’s Communities for Change initiative and Construction Academy, the Cream City Conference was created in the wake of the 2020 attention to equity, inclusion, and justice. This third iteration will review areas of opportunity and need in Milwaukee’s construction community, along with efforts in some circles to challenge disadvantaged classifications.
