Early life experiences illuminated Allison’s path to a legal career.
A self-proclaimed “theater kid” with a passion for school and learning, Allison grew up with a love of reading, writing and problem-solving. A law career was a natural fit, and her choice was confirmed when she gained valuable experience working for a law firm while earning her undergraduate degree.
In law school she was active in both the Moot Court and Law Journal, serving as the chair of the Moot Court Board and an executive articles editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Her time as a law clerk with the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri and a student clinician at the Mississippi Innocence Project established her desire to work as a litigator and ignited research that led to publication in the Mississippi Law Journal. Inspired by her father’s longtime work at OSHA, Allison was drawn to practice labor and employment law.
