Alyssa comes to litigation from a background in state government work.
Alyssa’s interest in the law arose during her master’s program in public affairs and was later confirmed by a full-time position in Wisconsin’s State Budget Office. She spent her workdays analyzing legislation and statutes, her attention particularly captured by the methods and the thinking of the attorneys she engaged with through this role. She soon decided to enroll in law school.
As a law student, Alyssa especially enjoyed the problem-solving aspect of the legal field. She chose to focus on litigation as a result and served as a summer associate at the firm, working on administrative, intellectual property and consumer finance matters. After graduation, she served as a clerk to Justice Rebecca Grassl Bradley of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, an experience that introduced her to a broad array of litigation and impressed upon her the deep significance litigation has for clients. Today, Alyssa represents clients in a variety of complex commercial matters.
