Brandon serves as director of operations for the firm’s General Assignment Associates (GAA) business unit, helping early-career attorneys develop skills and deliver excellent client service.
Brandon brings a background as both an attorney and a Marine Corps veteran to his role in the firm’s business operations. He began his legal career as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell and was most recently a senior associate assisting clients with product liability, toxic tort, and commercial litigation matters. However, Brandon most enjoyed collaborating with clients on their strategic business goals and aspired to work in business growth over the long term. As a result, he pursued a business role within the firm.
In 2024, Brandon transitioned from the practice of law to the director of operations role, where he works with the GAA unit’s managing director to oversee daily operations, strategic planning, financial management, and human capital management. The unit includes more than 200 early-career associates, and Brandon devotes most of his time to supporting these attorneys’ career development. After having walked the same path himself, Brandon understands the challenges new attorneys face, and he works closely with each associate to put them in the best position to succeed in their careers and on behalf of the clients they serve.
