Grant helps banking and finance clients complete transactions to advance their business goals.
With a passion for both law and business, Grant chose to pursue a career as a corporate attorney, combining both fields and nurturing his interests in financial markets and the legal system. However, he first attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and went on to serve as an artillery officer in the Army, advising highly skilled teams and assisting with joint military exercises in South Korea near the North Korean border. The experience taught him the importance of strategic teamwork and strengthened his determination to surmount any obstacle.
Today, Grant represents banks and other lenders in middle market lending transactions, including LIHTC financings, cash flow loans, asset-based loans, commercial and industrial loans, acquisition financings, construction loans, permanent loans and syndicated loans. He provides technical advice to sophisticated financial clients—similar to his advisory role as a military officer. With a significant number of his transactions backed by real property, Grant is especially familiar with real estate and public law. He’s also experienced with general commercial litigation.
Grant is a solutions-focused attorney who loves to find the solutions that will make a deal happen and get a transaction closed on time. His aim is to help clients complete transactions on schedule, while still ensuring that their interests are protected.
