Jared advises companies, founders, and investors at every stage of the business lifecycle, from formation through strategic transactions and exits.
Jared’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other complex corporate transactions, where he represents buyers, sellers, and investors. From structuring and due diligence through drafting principal transaction agreements and closing, Jared takes a practical, business‑oriented approach, helping clients navigate transactions efficiently while staying focused on their strategic goals.
In addition to transactional work, Jared regularly counsels companies and founders on corporate governance matters. He advises on entity formation and structuring, drafts governing documents, and provides strategic guidance on governance and board procedure. Jared works closely with founders, management teams, and family-owned enterprises regarding succession planning and strategic ownership transitions.
To complement his broad corporate practice, Jared advises on insurance regulatory matters, helping clients navigate the complex web of state insurance laws. For example, he counsels insurers, insurance agencies, managing general agencies, insurtech companies, and other industry members on regulatory compliance, licensing, marketing practices, and statutory filings. Jared also provides strategic advice on change-of-control transactions for insurance-regulated entities nationwide.
Prior to joining the firm, Jared served as a police dispatcher, coordinating emergency responses in high-pressure situations. That experience sharpened Jared’s ability to communicate with clarity and precision. When clients face high-stakes transactions or unexpected challenges, Jared draws on his professional experiences to triage the situation, negotiate thoughtfully, and distil complex information into clear, actionable advice.
