Kaitlyn focuses her practice on estate and asset protection planning for individuals at every level of wealth.
Kaitlyn designs and implements customized wills, trusts, marital agreements, and business agreements to achieve client objectives for wealth preservation, succession planning, and maximum tax efficiency with built-in flexibility for the future.
Kaitlyn also regularly counsels individuals and fiduciaries on all aspects of trust and estate administration. She represents clients in a broad range of Probate Court proceedings.
Her tax practice includes the preparation of complex estate tax returns, gift tax returns and representing clients in related IRS audits. She also advises clients on matters involving generation-skipping transfer tax, trust and estate income tax and charitable gifting.
Kaitlyn has extensive experience advising not-for-profit organizations and their leadership on forming and administering public and private charities. Previously, Kaitlyn served as the Executive Director for a large charitable organization focused on Supplemental Needs Trust administration for disabled individuals. She served as a professional trustee on behalf of over 330 disabled beneficiaries, overseeing all aspects of trust administration with millions of dollars’ worth of assets under management.
