Kate is a senior paralegal who focuses on public finance and corporate transactional matters.
Kate helps clients such as municipalities, manufacturers, exempt facilities, schools and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations finance eligible projects through a specialized niche of financial services known as bond financing or public finance. Kate’s knowledge of public finance is expansive and she works closely with attorneys at every stage of a bond financing to represent clients in various engagements as bond counsel, lender’s counsel, underwriter’s counsel, issuer’s counsel and borrower’s counsel. Her analytical skills are used extensively in drafting documents, document review and project management. Kate is also a skilled corporate and transactional paralegal who has significant experience with complex mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, foreign qualification, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) matters and stock transactions. She is instrumental in drafting transactional documents, completing due diligence, legal research and maintaining meticulous closing checklists to facilitate organized and successful closings.
