Outside the Office

Matt and his wife, Carlye, love traveling—recent trips have included a honeymoon in Italy and a summer vacation to Mexico. At the top of their bucket list is Argentina, where Carlye did her Ph.D. research before their marriage.

When he’s at home in St. Louis, Matt enjoys reading, playing board games with friends, baking, and watching sports. His favorite teams include the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Lightning, with whom he interned as an undergrad.

Matt and Carlye are also devoted cat people who recently adopted their new cat, Artemis. In fact, their relationship had its start after they got to know each other while volunteering at a cat shelter.
