A combined interest in science and the justice system helped set Samantha’s career path.
Working for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court after her undergraduate studies, Samantha gained firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the justice system.
Samantha learned she could combine her experience working in the courts and her interest in science to find creative solutions and solve problems as an attorney. She entered law school and focused on intellectual property.
Samantha enjoys working with inventors, and she uses her ability to understand the science behind inventions and discoveries to help protect their intellectual property. Her ability to relay technical information effectively to others is a key ingredient to her success – and the success of her clients.
During law school, Samantha was a Judge Lawrence G. Crahan Memorial Judicial Fellow, serving as intern to Judge Mary R. Russell of the Missouri Supreme Court and Judge Philip M. Hess of the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District. Samantha was also a judicial intern to W. Brent Powell of the Missouri Supreme Court.
