Overview

Strong research skills and the ability to distill large amounts of information into effective fact sets are key to Tessa’s effectiveness as a litigator.

Tessa’s background in the natural sciences and mathematics provide a strong foundation for her career as a litigator. Tessa combines a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to review large quantities of data and information to build and refine her clients’ litigation strategies.

Tessa has assisted litigation teams in connection with wide range of tasks at each phase of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial materials, as well as conducting preparation for depositions, mediations, and investigatory interviews by various state and federal agencies. Her clients have included insurance companies and healthcare providers, among others, involved in both state and federal litigation, and she has helped defend clients against a variety of claims, including those involving employment law, professional liability, property and premises liability, and healthcare regulation.

Prior to entering private practice, Tessa served as a law clerk with the Denver office of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, where she assisted in drafting administrative law decisions and orders with supporting authority from OSHRC and appellate court decisions.
