Toni has practiced in the business immigration field since 1990.
She represents a wide range of employers in obtaining and maintaining employment-authorized U.S. immigration status for their foreign national employees, both as temporary employees for a period of months or years and on a permanent basis. She advises employers on workplace compliance matters, from the proper completion and maintenance of Form I-9 and designing complete compliance systems, to company participation in e-verify.
A substantial part of Toni’s practice includes partnering with clients to develop comprehensive business immigration solutions. Encompassing both long- and short-term staffing needs, Toni helps employers find solutions that meet the demands of business and still serve the best interests of their valuable foreign national employees.
Toni represents employers in compliance audits and investigations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and defends clients in the investigation of charges of discrimination by the Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices. She also represents clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Labor, the Department of State, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other federal agencies.
