Vicki draws on nearly four decades of litigation experience to represent clients in complex commercial matters.
Vicki represents clients at all stages of general commercial litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as in mediation and arbitration, across a wide variety of industries. Her experience includes real estate and construction matters, trust disputes, employment litigation, trademark infringement litigation, contract-related and other business disputes, defamation, product liability and bankruptcy. She also previously served as Assistant Attorney General for Missouri, where she oversaw major consumer fraud cases.
Alongside her litigation work, Vicki has also provided business formation counseling, contract drafting and negotiation, and general legal advice on a variety of business needs. While she currently focuses her practice primarily on litigation, her prior business counseling experience helps her understand the inner workings of clients’ businesses and gives her a fuller perspective on the contracts—and the business needs behind them—that are often at issue in litigation.
With a passion for legal strategy and writing, Vicki became a litigator in order to use her skills to help clients navigate what can be a hard-to-understand justice system. Vicki thrives on the client communication inherent in her work, and clients appreciate her regular updates. She’s known as a highly practical attorney who strives to be both realistic and upfront with clients about the costs and risks of litigation, even when the client is likely to prevail. Her aim is always to achieve the result that’s truly in the client’s best interests and that best aligns with business goals and needs.
