National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Michael Clark has joined the firm as a partner in the Los Angeles office and as a member of its Corporate, M&A, and Securities practice team.
Clark has more than two decades of experience representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters. He represents clients across a broad range of industries, including food and beverage, security, fashion, manufacturing, aerospace/defense, and energy.
"Husch Blackwell's subject matter knowledge and bench depth played a critical role in joining the firm," Clark said. "California has the fourth largest economy in the world and I'm eager to help build the firm's presence and service offerings in Southern California."
Clark serves as primary outside counsel to both multinational and national companies in addition to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. He also has a significant focus on securities law compliance in connection with the private placement of securities, including through the EB-5 immigrant investment program wherein foreign nationals invest in job-creating entities in the U.S. Clark has worked with EB-5 clients since 2016, representing multiple projects in which EB-5 participants have invested.
