News Releases

Husch Blackwell has appointed Adam N. Charlsen as managing partner of its Omaha office, effective January 1, 2021.

Charlsen succeeds partner Marnie Jensen, who has served as office managing partner since April 2019. Jensen will continue her full-time law practice representing clients in the food and agricultural industry.

Charlsen is a member of Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate, Development & Construction industry group. He advises retail, restaurant, office and industrial clients on site acquisitions and leasing transitions, as well as on related due diligence and development matters. He also counsels local government agencies and districts on public infrastructure development and related governance issues and, as a member of the firm’s Public-Private Partnership (P3) and Retail teams, provides legal assistance. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and currently serves as the State Government Relations Chair in the ICSC Central Division.

“Adam will play a vital role as a key client-facing leader in Omaha,” said Paul Eberle, Husch Blackwell Chief Executive. “His leadership in the Omaha office will continue Marnie’s client-first legacy and continue to broaden the visibility of our firm in this important market.”

“I am excited to continue Husch Blackwell’s legacy of superior client service to our Omaha clients. Omaha has earned a deserved reputation as a great place to live, work, play, raise a family, and grow a business, and I am proud to champion that reputation in my new role,” Charlsen said.

Charlsen earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Kansas. Before joining Husch Blackwell, Charlsen served as in-house counsel for the nonprofit Boys Town. He will continue to represent clients while serving as office managing partner.
