Brothers joins from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the largest government-owned electricity provider in the United States, where he developed deep experience in utility capacity planning, large-scale power procurement, generation interconnection, and transmission infrastructure.
Based in Knoxville, Tennessee as a member of The Link, Brothers brings a distinguished track record of designing utility scale power procurement solicitations or request for proposals (RFP), originating and negotiating large-scale Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and navigating commercial energy agreements within complex transmission interconnection procedures and processes. His arrival deepens the firm’s Energy Project Contracts and Transaction teams while meaningfully expanding Husch Blackwell’s geographic reach into the South — a strategically important region for the energy industry.
