Webinar

**This webinar has been updated to reflect the August 20, 2024 decision in Ryan LLC, et al., v. Federal Trade Commission**

The Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) ban on non-compete agreements has been enjoined nationwide.

On August 20, 2024, a federal court in Texas issued a decision which enjoins the FTC’s rule on a nationwide basis. This webinar will discuss what this nationwide ban means for the future of the FTC’s rule, and the notice requirements that would have gone into effect on September 4, 2024. As the Ryan LLC decision will likely be appealed, healthcare employers should continue to take steps that prepare for compliance with the FTC’s rule, as well as other state requirements for post-employment non-compete agreements.

Join Husch Blackwell’s Shawna Ruetz as she discusses what employers can do to prepare in light of the recent decision and the still uncertain future of the FTC’s ban on non-competes.
