As public and private higher education institutions face the ongoing challenge of restricted budgets and aging energy infrastructure, creative methods for physical plant improvements have evolved. The use of energy savings performance contracts and energy as services present unique opportunities and challenges related to financing and accounting treatments. In this session, the panel will focus on these issues from the development, legal and corporate finance perspectives with industry leaders who have managed such projects.
