Aaron defends clients—particularly those in the transportation and logistics sectors—in complex commercial litigation.
A litigator for more than 20 years, Aaron focuses much of his practice on transportation, cargo, and logistics cases, including freight loss and damage claims, liability involving autonomous vehicles or driverless cars, and matters related to tariff and transportation charge collections. He also represents clients in general commercial litigation, such as breach-of-contract, franchise, and shareholder and partner disputes, as well as professional liability litigation. In addition, Aaron defends public entities in a variety of matters.
With a strong competitive streak, Aaron thrives on winning for clients. He’s passionate about developing arguments and finding the right strategy to secure the best results possible, and he tends to obtain dismissals of cases against clients before they ever reach the trial stage. Clients know him as a fierce advocate who’s always willing to walk them through the process in detail—especially for those unfamiliar with litigation.
Earlier in his career, Aaron served as assistant city attorney for the City of Glendale, Arizona, managing the city’s litigation portfolio. His work included defending civil rights claims against municipalities and police departments, urban planning and zoning disputes, tort defense, and public records law. Aaron continues to handle similar cases for the firm’s public entity clients, but also brings his inside understanding of in-house pressures and needs to every client relationship.
