Overview

Nikki assists energy clients with end-to-end transactions that make their innovative projects a reality.

Energy clients rely on Nikki to advise them through various stages of project development and operation, beginning with early site control, due diligence, financing and construction, and ending with the sale of energy to prospective purchasers. She guides clients at planning, design and function stages and has experience drafting and securing site control documents, performing due diligence review on secured or prospective sites, and guiding clients through project financing in order to get them to project operation within desired timelines. Developers, investors and purchasers – including in the wind and solar sector – are some of the renewable energy clients Nikki assists. She enjoys helping clients address the challenges and opportunities inherent to the renewable energy industry.

Nikki also has significant experience in a broad spectrum of real estate transactional matters. She counsels corporate, retail and affordable housing clients in the sale, purchase, financing, development, operation, lease and disposition of numerous types of property. As with renewable energy projects, she appreciates that real estate law often has resolutions that are beneficial for all parties, including the community.
