As a corporate attorney, Ryan applies an in-depth understanding of business priorities to help clients navigate acquisitions, financing, and other complex transactions.

Ryan is a corporate transactions attorney with a focus on counseling both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, joint ventures and other commercial transactions. He has a broad base of transactional experience and represents clients across multiple industries, including business and financial services, energy and natural resources, and technology.

His experience includes leading roles in all aspects of M&A and corporate financing transactions, and he regularly counsels clients on enterprise-driven legal issues, including intellectual property, securities, and compliance. He also advises credit unions and nonprofits on corporate, transactional, and governance matters. Alongside his JD, Ryan earned a dual MBA degree, giving him a solid understanding of the business fundamentals that underpin clients’ companies.

  • Represented private equity funds in the acquisition of dozens of portfolio companies across multiple industries.
  • Served as local counsel to a sponsor in connection with tax equity financing of an approximately 275 MW solar facility and an approximately 125 MW battery energy storage system.
  • Served as local counsel to a sponsor in connection with tax equity financing of an approximately 265.5 MW wind facility.
  • Represented a nonprofit organization focused on youth outreach and care in the merger with a notable nonprofit organization.

Outside the Office

As the father of two very young boys, Ryan devotes most of his free time to his family. He also loves outdoor activities and takes annual backpacking trips with friends. He’s both a diehard college football fan and a devoted supporter of the Arsenal Football Club.
